中国資格弁護士、北京大学の法律学位およびロンドンSOASを取得した。入所前に、裁判官を務め、1996年から2009年までの間に経済犯罪、知的財産権、渉外紛争に関する事件を処理した、また2005年、中国最高裁判所に選ばれ、英国政府の最高裁判事から奨学金を授与され、中英司法交流計画に参加した。2005年8月から2006年8月にかけて、英国政府の手当を受けてSOAS修士号を取得した。
